Meet our newest Theatre Performance Scholars!

We asked our students to introduce themselves by answering a few questions.

Kamilla Akhmedova (top left)

1. Where are you from?: Russia
2. What is your major here at Drexel?: Animation
3. What excites you about being involved with Theatre at Drexel?: It vibes. I like the atmosphere of the stage and people that are performing, stage directing and working on the play with me.

Roxie Popovsky (top right)

1. Where are you from?: Clevland, OH
2. What is your major here at Drexel?: EAM (Entertainment and Arts Management)
3. What excites you about being involved with Theatre at Drexel?: The Spring musical

Matthew Lacy (bottom left)

1. Where are you from?: Wayne, PA
2. What is your major here at Drexel?: Screenwriting and Playwriting
3. What excites you about being involved with Theatre at Drexel?: I've loved acting on stage since I was in middle school, and I'm excited to do it more with Drexel!

Victoria Miller (bottom center)

1. Where are you from?: Baltimore, MD
2. What is your major here at Drexel?: Entrepreneurship and Innovation
3. What excites you about being involved with Theatre at Drexel?: The many different types of performance opportunities there are throughout the year. From musical theatre cabarets and open mic nights to student directed plays and mainstage shows with guests directors, there is always something fun to get involved in!

Prashanna Subedi (bottom right)

1. Where are you from?: Nepal
2. What is your major here at Drexel?: Film&TV
3. What excites you about being involved with Theatre at Drexel?: Theatres here are very different from theatres in Nepal and seeing different methods of doing the same thing amazes me. Plus, I really like the vibe of our theatre ensemble.
